We are Plainview Labs, Inc. (Fido, “we” or “us”) and operate under the name of Fido. We’re committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. An important part of that is making sure that this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) is something that people actually understand.

2. How often does this change?
As Fido grows and changes, this Privacy Policy may change with it. If we do change it, we will notify you by sending an email, or by posting a prominent notice on our website and, or mobile app. We will also update the date and version number above.
Any minor, non-material changes or clarifications go into effect immediately. Any material changes go into effect 30 days after we provide notice.
3. How does this policy apply?
This Privacy Policy applies to the data we collect through our website and mobile app (the “Services”). By data, we mean any information that identifies or can be used to identify you.
If you are under the age of 18, you may not access or use our Services. We do not solicit or knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.

- Information you submit when you create an account or join our waitlist (name, ID, email, phone number, SSN, address).
- Usage details about how you navigate the app or website.
- Transaction details (investments, purchases, withdrawals).

- Social accounts (any linked accounts you authorize).

9. Third party services
We use Plaid Inc. to gather data from financial institutions. By using our Services, you grant Fido and Plaid the right to access and transmit your information. See Plaid’s Privacy Policy.
10. Security
We encrypt sensitive info (like debit card numbers) using SSL and maintain safeguards to protect your data’s confidentiality and integrity. Access is limited to people who need it and are bound by confidentiality.
11. Cookie Policy
Like most sites, we use cookies to remember preferences and improve your experience. They may be session (short-term) or persistent (longer), first-party or third-party (ads, analytics, social).
You can disable cookies in your browser. If you do, you might still see ads for Fido, but they will not be personalized.
